Full 3D Pipeline
Lumacraft’s 3D pipeline is used for precise modeling, architectural storytelling, and full worldbuilding when a project requires complete spatial control.
This pipeline includes:
-
Cinema 4D — modeling, layout, animation
-
Z Brush — modeling, sculpting
-
Twinmotion — real‑time environment building, lighting, and rendering
-
INSYDIUM Fuse / X‑Particles,Nexus — simulation and environmental effects
-
Redshift — cinematic lighting and rendering
-
Cascadeur — physics‑based motion
-
Photoshop — texture polish
-
Adobe Affter Effects / Premiere — compositing and final edit
This combination allows Lumacraft to create:
-
believable environments
-
stylized architectural worlds
-
product‑ready 3D assets
-
physically accurate animation
-
cinematic renders with emotional tone
The 3D pipeline is not separate from Lumacraft’s identity — it is part of the same worldbuilding philosophy. Every 3D model, from the Morphy space car to the Strawberry House, begins with architectural logic and evolves into a stylized cinematic universe.
Space Car — Design Process
The Space Car was created using Lumacraft’s hybrid design workflow. It begins with a hand sketch, where the silhouette, curvature, and architectural logic are defined. This sketch is then translated into a 3D blockout using ZBrush and Cinema 4D to establish accurate form, proportion, and structure. Finally, the model is taken into our AI rendering pipeline, where we generate stylized visual explorations that refine material language, lighting, and cinematic mood. This process blends traditional artistry, architectural thinking, and modern AI tools into a single cohesive design method.

What Lumacraft Creates
Lumacraft specializes in:
stylized animated worlds
cinematic short sequences
character-driven storytelling
architectural sci‑fi environments
brand worlds for products
hybrid AI + 3D animation pipelines
IP development and worldbuilding
Every project — Foodies Town, Morphy House, Strawberry World — is part of a growing library of Lumacraft universes.
The Lumacraft Philosophy

Lumacraft Studio is a world‑building animation house that blends a handcrafted clay‑like aesthetic with modern hybrid AI / 3D pipelines. We create emotionally resonant characters, tactile environments, and visually distinct universes across multiple genres — from warm slice‑of‑life stories to imaginative sci‑fi transformations and product‑driven narratives.
Our signature clay‑inspired look gives every project a sense of humanity, texture, and charm, while our hybrid pipeline ensures cinematic motion, expressive acting, and fast, flexible production. Whether we’re designing a brand mascot, crafting a micro‑animation loop, or building an entire fictional world, Lumacraft delivers animation that feels alive, memorable, and deeply connected to the viewer.
We don’t just animate. We build worlds.
A Hybrid Studio: AI + 3D + Handcrafted Direction
Lumacraft works with a dual pipeline.
Hybrid AI Pipeline
A modern workflow that combines:
-
generated poses
-
expressive acting motion
-
handcrafted identity control , Adobe Photoshop
-
manual silhouette consistency, Adobe Photoshop
-

This pipeline allows Lumacraft to create high‑quality animation at the speed of imagination, without sacrificing artistic control. AI is not the author — it is the brush. The vision, direction, and world rules come from the studio.
Lumacraft is a one‑person creative studio built on a simple belief: worlds matter. A story becomes unforgettable when it lives inside a world with identity, culture, architecture, and emotion — and Lumacraft specializes in creating those worlds.
Founded by Aytac Akkan, an architect‑turned‑animation‑director, Lumacraft blends cinematic storytelling with architectural logic to build stylized universes that feel lived‑in, coherent, and emotionally resonant.

Aytac’s animation journey began in 2010, when she studied filmmaking and animation at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Since then, she has spent years creating product animations, motion graphics, short story films, 3D environments, and cinematic sequences — developing a hybrid skillset that combines visual storytelling, 3D modeling, environment design, and handcrafted animation.
Alongside her architectural work, Aytac continued expanding her 3D worldbuilding abilities, eventually blending these disciplines into Lumacraft’s hybrid AI + 3D pipeline.
Before founding Lumacraft, Aytac worked on several architectural and 3D environment projects — including the Pond House, a fully modeled and animated space created in Cinema 4D and Twinmotion. You can watch the full animation here:
